For over four decades, I have been studying the great Dutch Painters, The Hudson River School, French Masters and researching their legacies in museums, galleries and libraries have been an invaluable resource, guide, and inspiration to me over the past four decades. Turning limited formal training into my strength has allowed me to experiment and approach the creative process with a unique perspective. Free from scholarly constraints I am able to stay authentic and true to myself, experimenting, exploring, and refining new techniques without the pressure to conform to a particular style or method.

In a landscape painting or abstract interpretation of a theme – my goal is to connect and engage the viewer on an emotional and intellectual level, and for them to become a participant in my work. The process of painting is not complete when the paint is dry.

I draw my inspiration from the wonders of nature – traveling, skiing and fly fishing are a welcome change of pace to my daily routine of prepping, painting, and creating. Over the years I have exhibited my work in galleries, shows, and private luxury resorts. I am looking forward to see where my journey will take me next.
